  1. Raptors don't have a lot of roster space these days to spend on guys who might not be able to play, since they're really going for it now with Kawhi. But I really hope they can give this guy a shot.

  2. This is a guy you definitely invest in, big men usually take time to develop when taken younger, he is more nba ready which is what we need. On a 2way it is a nobrainer. Id even take him as the last guaranteed contract, and 2way either Lundy or Burnett.

  3. We have needed a CENTRE for the past 4yrs !! I have no idea why the Raptors have been so adverse to having a truly 7ftrs on the team. We have needed a a backup to Poeltl . I hope we have that 7ftr Bittle or Sharp on the team !! Which ever CENTRE the Raptors choose Darko's coaches can work with the guy !!

  4. Sharp is truly a drop big !! Sharp is quicker than Bittle but is not smarter than Bittle in his play !! To have a true BIG is going to protect CMB AND BARNES from injury !! How can you not have BITTLE AND BATTLE ON THE TEAM !!

  5. Bittle is worth a rookie minimum deal. 2-years only $50k guaranteed. As you say, they don’t come along often. Lock him up to a low risk deal and grab Lundy with the last 2-way. Or you waive either of the 2 PGs that are on them already. It would be prudent IMO to get sharp on a 2-way. Chucky is good enough to walk into a deal with another team pretty quickly.

  6. I hate to say this, but I am leaning towards Sharp over Bittle, and here is why: Bittle is like one of those students who gets all of his grades in B or B-, his outside shooting, blocking shots, passing the ball, defense… but Sharp is like an ALL C student, but one subject can get you A++. If you are a teacher, a scout, or a VC investor, who do you invest in? I personally lean towards Sharp, because it just goes to dominate your A++

  7. Great analysis with good film. Thanks. I'd sign him to a 2-way. Unless Bradley is hiding some super power, I would drop him early to make room for Lundy and Sharp. Even though he finally hit a few shots in game 3, Bradley's decision-making and passing still show no signs of appearing. Right now I think that the Raps have more chance of success with Bittle, Sharp and Lundy than with the bottom of the free agency barrel.

  8. Should sign him to a 2-way contract in training camp. He has the potential to be a stretch 5. More significantly, the Raptors should sign Seth Lundy to a 2-way or standard contract.

  9. I am cautiously optimistic Nate Bittle will be part of solving the Raptors’ floor-spacing issues. Time will tell, however, to what degree, if any, he will manage to solve such issues, particularly when regular-season games get underway late in October.

  10. Nate is decent when healthy as a third C. He is too slow footed and processing. If you have a C room like Pistons last year shorter and faster Cs then he would fit that for them as a change of pace. Now If we trade JV for M Turner then he fits as 3rd C. Then trade TJ-D for real backup C great.
We needed a guy like Chris Cenac along with Jak and Trayce. Or a guy like T Sorber if he can’t get healthy.

  11. I really like sharp he looks unstoppable on the boards but hes too light so he would get moved around by the heavier bigs in the nba

  12. Bittles is d league at least 10 games. Bradley d league Sharpe is better at this point. Defensive player of the year.
    Raptors should sign him first
33 percent from Bittle 3 % and we have Kawhi. I don't see that defense.
We can keep them both but develope properly. Sharpe did his d league. Time already
