@raptorsrepublic Samson, I've now heard this 3 times when analysts are describing Graves. Can you please explain the difference as I've never heard this term used so often describing a player. "Defensive Playmaking" I understand Offensive Playmaking as this is the ability of a player to assist or move/screen or make a smart decision leading to scoring points. Explain Defensive Playmaking. Why are people bringing this up often when describing Graves?

Really excited to be proven wrong, I was a doubter. I wanted Philon or Carr.
But he looks great, he just makes the right play 80+% of the time.
His shooting is a huge boon, hopefully his volume can increase and stay a 40%.

People dont talk about maybe his best asset. The football influenced catching in traffic. He finds seems and has amazing hands. Looks like a tight end out there. This WILL translate.

not great form shooting the rock, but I like the how he brings his own pace to the game like Luca – we will see if he is strong enough as a power forward in NBA – needs to work on a jump shot like Caleb Wilson – now he has a set shot.

Graves is a very versatile player.. 🔥 he can attack the rim by going left hand and right hand. Very good dribbling, for a big guy.
In the NBA when they see he can shoot, they going to run him off the line, can he dribble and create his own shot a little.

Look i know you gotta keep that content coming out and you gotta catch eyeballs and all that but for a 19th pick who's played 4 SUMMER LEAGUE games I think framing this story with a little less of the OH MY GAWD!! hyperbole would be appropriate. I want him to be great too but let's keep popping those chill pills every once in a while.
