GS was looking to trade the pick if Curry was already off the board by 7. They were as much in love with Steph as Kerr was. But if you make clear to PHX that you're keeping Steph if he's at 7, then PHX starts trying to trade up to 6. If you're GS and hoping to draft Steph, you don't want that.

That’s why to me at least Curry had a overall better career then Leben Jimmons 😂 his only leverage was being the son of dell but he was definitely doubtful to most GMs eyes the multiple surgeries on his ankles and to still be with the same team that drafted him and to have 4 chips the same amount as Jimmons 😂 speaks wonders to me the nba spent so much money and did everything in their power to get Leben to pass Jordan Kobe Duncan even Bill…he just couldn’t do it heart definitely had a impact and it is what it is at this point add the fact 3 out curry’s chips are against Leben Jimmons curry still loyal and the other guy is still hopping around like the Rambo mercenary that he is like sheesh 😂 STEPH CHANGED THE GAME!
