What it’ll take for me to stop trying to trade Lauri Markkanen

You guys all know that I’m not as big of a Lauri Markkanen fan as the typical Jazz fan. Here’s why I would have traded him in the past and what reason I might do it now.

  1. Lauri makes no sense on the team with the moves we have been making recently. I love Lauri as a player. But we do not know if he has the grit for the playoffs.

  2. I just can't anymore. Smh unsubscribed. So many other quality jazz sites. This show basically just a site that aggregates old news or recent news. Im all for differing opinions but there's an arrogance with you. Clearly the masses triggered you to make this video in order to try and justify ur take. Ur a host of a jazz show and ur viewers in the majority dislike this take. U need to learn how to handleit better. This nonsense about u never wanted to trade lauri for nothing is just straight gaslighting. It's not that we said ud trade him for ham sandwich but rather u can't stop talking about it. As a jazz fan we finally have something to look forward to after miserable years and before we Even get to see the fruits of our labors. You're back at trying to trade lauri and for what more assets? I dunno how u don't see that as annoying for fans who finally see the light and come to this ur show and have to time and time again hear u minimizing one of our allstars that wants to be in utah. It drives me nuts. U can show me all the analytics u want to frame things ur way but I can tell u right now every single contender out there would love to have lauri on their team.

  3. Unless injuries change things we are NOT getting past either OKC or Spurs to get to even play for a conference championship until our young studs develop to our hopes AND we get a true rim stopper. If we can get a haul of picks for Laurie whether this year or next we can load up to aquire that guy AND pay who we have. I want to see us then challenge for 4 plus years. That takes us out at least six years from now. Think about that. I always look forward to watching this channel!!! We can agree or disagree and even spout wild ideas as true jazz crazies!

  4. We need to see Lauri for a year with this team and see him going 100% in his prime. I love Lauri, but if we can't win at a high level after this next year with him, we need to go younger with him in a trade. JJJ is more on the timeline and need to see how this goes

  5. i just dont understand why anyone wants to trade him now. statistically one of the most consistent players in the league, that you can pen for 25 a night on elite efficiency. the literal perfect veteran play finishing cutter and shooter for a team drenched in playmaking between key, dp, nurk, and zay. and hes not even that old.

  6. I don't want to see the Jazz trade Lauri until we see how things turn out this season. Besides, the time to have traded him was three years ago when we were deep in the tank. For now, it would take an incredible offer for me to say yes to a trade. This season's team is going to be really good and a lot of fun to watch. You don't trade that opportunity away; unless, the return makes the gamble worth it.
