What would be considered a SUCCESSFUL SEASON for Peyton Watson with the Cleveland Cavaliers?

Peyton Watson enters his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers with real expectations after Cleveland acquired the 23-year-old in a five-team sign-and-trade and committed four years and $88 million to him. Watson is coming off career highs of 14.6 points and 4.9 rebounds while shooting 41.1% from three, so success doesn’t necessarily mean becoming another star alongside Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and James Harden — it means staying healthy, defending high-level wings, knocking down open shots and proving he can be the long-term answer at small forward. After Cleveland surrendered an unprotected 2031 first-round pick to get him, what does Watson have to accomplish for his first season in Cleveland to be considered a success?

  1. I watched this video here on YouTube yesterday: "Peyton Watson Gets Game From 5x Champ Derek Fisher!" I am wildly impressed and excited about this young man… Watch it and let us know what you think??

  2. It's not unreasonable at all. Watson average 14ppg last season. He's gonna get plenty of touches with the 2nd unit and the gravity of the core 4 will open him up for clean looks at the basket.

  3. I expect harden to take a huge step back with his scoring . I don’t care what he looks like in the regular season he can’t be taking all the shot volume during the season and go ghost during the playoffs and now everyone else is trying to get a rhythm

  4. I don’t understand why it’s so unreasonable he averaged 14 points and I’m pretty sure he’s gonna get a lot of more wide open shots playing with James Harden and Donovan Mitchell so three points more per game. Yes is very possible. Sometimes I don’t think y’all don’t know what the hell y’all talking about on the sports show.

  5. We had the highest offensive rating jus 2 seasons ago it's not far fetched adding Watson Evan take a step up and Harden havin a whole pre/reg season to prepare that we can easily return
