The Orlando Magic are still recovering from their playoff heartbreak as they prepare for the 2027 season. The series raised plenty of questions for the Magic.
The biggest that they will likely face is determining whether Paolo Banchero is the right star to lead the team. His struggles in Game 6 and his struggles to close the series after Franz Wagner’s injury linger in the air. And that is on top of all the criticisms of his efficiency and his star power that linger whenever he hits the floor.
Can Banchero learn from his mistakes to help make things up fo the Magic in the 2027 season? Or will the Magic have to make a bigger decision this offseason?
