The LA Clippers CAN NOT Stay SILENT + Should Fans Jump Ship?

1. Fans can jump ship if they want. For me… it's just another "what else is new" with this franchise. I'll stay here, guys. You guys go off to greener pastures. I won't blame you guys one bit if you left. It was nice having you guys here even if it was just for the last decade or so.

6. I've been a fan as long as you have. And if it gets bad, I will jump ship this time. The organization fukced up. And they had a great team to route for when they did it. Pat Bev, Lou, Trez and Shai. The fact that they gave up what they did AND broke the rules was completely stupid. They put all their eggs in the basket of 2 guys who had already missed whole seasons with injuries. And now this. But my issue is also with the NBA. They could suspend Balmer for more time or whatever. But the picks is going after the fan base. I'm twenty years older than you, if you're into a girl and she tells you to your face, I just don't really care about you, you'd best have some self respect and move on. The NBA is that girl right now. They want to punish a fan base for nearly a decade or whatever, I'm not going to waste my time.

12. It’s a different type of infraction and not salary cap circumvention per se. There was no team salary that didn’t hit the cap in order to use it elsewhere. Clips paid Kawhi the max and every cent went fairly towards the salary cap. The infraction was for improper introductions to sponsors. That’s very different than Pablo’s assertions. Let’s see what happens but I’ve been a Clipper fan since likely you weren’t even a thought and I’m not going anywhere.

33. I’m a fan till the end. For those who say Ballmer should sell the team, be careful what you wish for. You could end up with someone like Peter Thiel, who could buy the team just to stick it to a liberal city. There are all kinds of owners who could be a thousand times worse. I do agree, Ballmer needs to apologize and put this behind the team. He has to understand that he’s rich as hell. He can rebuild this team, and it won’t take a decade. Realistically, you’re looking at a five‑year timeline.
