Houston Rockets Logo History (1971-2026) #HoustonRockets #NBALogos #SportsLogos

The Houston Rockets have called Houston home since 1971-72, following their relocation from San Diego. This video traces all the primary logos (and some alternates!) the team has used since moving to Texas, from the original jetpack-player mark through the back-to-back titles, the cartoon rocket design of the late nineties, right up to the brand-new red-and-yellow rebrand introduced for 2026-27.
