  1. an interesting thing is, Trev says the Raptors could use a rim protecting big

it's interesting the name that I've heard over and over associated with the Raptors to trade Poeltl for this person, is Sabonis

Poeltl's career average in blocks per game is 1.2, and looking at his stats, his minutes per game early in his career was around 18 minutes per game or less the first 4 seasons, and his career high is 29.6 minutes per game

when I look up Sabonis' career high in blocks per game, it's 0.6 blocks per game, and his 6 last healthy seasons according to his stat page says he plays around 35 minutes per game. He averaged around 36 mpg, when he got his career high of 0.6 blocks per game.

  2. I have POTS, so my first thought with Porzingis is that it's a POTS flare-up; but then why not call it that? Even though he later retracted it, Kerr said it wasn't POTS. Since it has so much in common with other conditions, it's possible that he was misdiagnosed and they're trying to rule everything else out. If it is POTS, there can't be a timetable for a return since it would have to be day-to-day unless he's trying a few things to get it under control. There have been people who have been able to work their way out of having really bad symptoms. But it would all depend on how he developed the condition. I wish him the best.

  3. My ex-wife has something similar to POTS. But to this day, the doctor still haven’t been able to figure anything out and it’s been 15 years. She just manages symptoms, but I don’t think she’ll ever know what’s wrong with her..

  4. As long as there’s an NBA draft lottery, intentional losing will occur at some point during the season. Perhaps tanking as we know it is the thing of the past, however, it may be viewed now as “standing manipulation.”

  5. We all want to keep a player like Kyrie until you receive an offer you’re forced to consider. If Kyrie looks healthy and like his old self and they get an offer for two 1st rounders…. I can’t see a world where they don’t consider the offer.
