It’s Obvious Now For The Kings…
It has become very obvious that changes need to be made to the Sacramento Kings following last nights Halloween loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
That along with the fact that this King’s player is not happy with Darius Acuff JR

Acuff is the only positive.
Sabonis wants to be the hub but it's not about him. Acuff is our future so let's get Domas out of here. Domas, Lavine and Monk gotta go cause they stinking up the locker room.
Someone take Sabonis and Lavine PLEASE
That AI slop King in the bottom left corner needs to go bruh. It looks bad.
sabonis can kick rocks. no one has time to run pnr and sabonis turning in a circle undecided on what he wants to
the Kings rookie is dropping All-Star performances… Last night's mega bricking Sacramento experience was embarrassing. Without a red hot Acuff, the Kings would have lost by 50
How does that dude know what Sabonis thinks? He's probably going by a quote from Sabonis after game 1.
Bullshit
Sabonis said this after the first game. I don’t think it was directed at Acuff. It was directed at Christie’s general resistance to use Domas as an offensive hub(as he was his first couple of seasons with the Kings) ever since taking over for Mike Brown.
Christie(or Perry) seem to view Domas as a rim runner and rebounder. Odd considering he played his best ball with Vlade, Webber, and Brad Miller playing the role Domas is best in
The next couple of games they tried to emphasize running the ball through Domas more and the Kings had their two best games of the season, though both were still L’s. They have since gone away from it again to guard and wing heavy initiation.
It’s best for the Kings, and ultimately Domas trade value that they do give him the ball more.
Acuff can play some possessions off ball. He’s a good pure shooter so he’s not a guy that becomes useless if the ball isn’t always in his hands
Sabonis is one of the reasons Mike Brown got fired….always whining
Let’s be honest. Sabonis told the press after the first game that he wanted the team to run the ball through him more. Thats how the team won in the beam season. The only time the Kings have made the playoffs in the last 20 years, Sabonis was a major part of running the offense. Fox still handled the ball more than Sabonis and there’s no question that Acuff is a better defender overall player than Fox & be in the same or a similar role. The issue here isn’t Domas and Acuff not working well together, because we’ve seen that they can be amazing together in flashes. The issue to put it short is Zach Lavine. I don’t hate Lavine, but he has not adapted his game at all to the Kings. I think trading Sabonis is insane to borderline unintelligent unless you get equal or better value in return. Lavine is the issue. He takes the ball out of Acuff and Sabonis’s hands. He doesn’t want play the role Keegan was playing in that beam season. That means Domas is playing a different role that he might be right about not wanting to be in. Maybe Acuff needs some push back, think about it. Fox adapted his game to play with Sabonis and still showed he was the number one. Acuff can do the same and still be the best player the on the team. It’s natural that that role should be earned. Fox and Sabonis took about a year to develop their chemistry. So with LaVine demanding the ball as much as he does, Sabonis knows his value diminishes when he loses his touches. But at the same time, it’s easier for Sabonis to pick the veteran Lavine over the rookie Acuff. But the organization can see the bigger picture, trade Lavine if the can, or work to start landing a big player and praying we get the number one draft pick next year. Lavine wants the ball to create, and he takes the ball out of better players in Sabonis and Acuff. Keep Sabonis, trade LaVine. Don’t be so quick to blow it up and make rash decisions. Sabonis is one of the guys who helped make the playoffs for the only time in the last 20 years.
I have to wonder who we could even get for Sabonis? His value is at a major low, we can’t just give him away for nothing. That’s literally the worst thing we could do. The Pistons don’t want him, New Orleans doesn’t. Max is. It ready to be a starter. He’s not the better defender when you compare him to Sabonis. Sabonis passes the ball way better. Then again, who do you get to replace Sabonis?? You aren’t going to find a better big man to replace him. Good luck
The kings have been trying to trade Sabonis for 2 years…. where have you been? Teams don't want him, and especially not with that contract…
So this video aged well… Matt George just did a non scheduled podcast and said this report is fake news. Good stuff
