Athletic reported all summer that the order was going to be Poole, then Wiggins, then they’d figure out Dray and Klay. There’s no urgency at all for the last two.

Dray has a player option. Klay is after thag too. Klay will likely take a pay cut cause of all uis missrd time while he was making a lot of money so he owes it to the org and the team to take a pay cut. That money will likely go to green. Also, new cba negotiaions as well as the tv deal will make extending these 2 not an issue. Juat have to deal with the media’s constant fukin speculations as well as some dumbass fans

Draymond is really doing the Warriors a favor by punching Poole. He made their decision-making process much easier.

Whut? Hate to tell you but Wiggins took a Loon kind of deal that opens the door for both Dray and Klay to stay with a little more cash and retain Wiseman.
They have $10M extra to work with now (unless you look it like Poole’s eaten it up already). Dray is doing a happy dance.

I might cry if Klay leaves.

I don’t want to speculate, but since it does harm anyone, I’m going to.
Does this mean the Warriors FO want to see Draymond’s value next year? Does it mean they know he’s going to opt in? Or do they think he’s not taking anything less than a max?
Personally, I think Draymond is at the “Max contract or bust” stage because if he’s got more than one more contract left in his playing career, the subsequent ones will definitely *not* be max..

Put my thoughts into images.
Wheels got to be turning in Draymond’s head, hopefully some realization that his bad behavior is now more likely than ever to have an impact on his future.

I dunno, if the warriors don’t keep Draymond then we might find out it was actually the Warriors who really messed up

Him saying he wants a max deal is just a negotiating ploy to maximize his next potential deal not an actual max contract … geez alot of dense keyboard warriors out there…
