Felt like we were in control most of the game

Refs make NBA games unwatchable at times. They are literally the worst, and most easily fixed, aspect of the game

But… Down the stretch we just run plays to get JT the ball, but then it’s all iso and everyone standing around. JT is great but, get him the ball the run an action for him! Set a screen, do a handoff like the end of regulation in the cavs games. Put yourself in an advantageous spot, get they’re defense out of position so you can get a look that’s actually open… good to get JT the ball, but then do something!
And Malcom Brogdon is unreal. Consistently beats his man and gets the rest of the defense out of position.
36 points on 8 made shots. Tatum being aggressive as hell and getting to the line when his shots not falling. Aggressive on rebounds and loose balls too. Love to see it.

JT is the third best player in the NBA imo
Even without Rob and Smart being in foul trouble I am kinda worried that the C’s lost a tight game against the Cavs and then once again moreso survived clutch time against the Bulls. Way too reminiscent of last playoffs. But a win is a win at the end of the day. The late 4th Quarter offense still worries me a bit though. As for some other thoughts…
-Tatum with a terrible shooting night(8/23), but he did makeup for a lot of it from the line(17/20), his usual great defense, 12 boards, and 6 assists to just 1 turnover
-Brown with some great cuts tonight, but his jumper has been out of whack for a little bit after those great first 2 games
-White with a much needed clutch 3 late in the 4th. Was good to see Brown spot him for that because finding 3 point shooters is imo the biggest remaining hole in Brown’s offensive game
-Brogdon’s last 3 games have been fantastic aside from some very painfully smoked layups against the Cavs. He more than earned his spot in the closing lineup tonight(25 points on 9/10 shooting)
-Kornet looked very solid. His slow feet makes him matchup dependent, but he’s looked good when the matchup works for him
-The bench in general looked great tonight. Grant with some good ball movement, Hauser making another pair of 3’s, and ofc Brogdon with 25
Highlights of this game will just be Demar and JT shooting FTs, but man did Brogdon look GOOD

Liked the coaching by joe tonight. Thought he managed the lineups well and may have saved the game by riding brogdon and white until the last minute when he brought smart in for the close
Jaylen Brown should be kicked off the team. His dunk over Vucevic made me lose no nut November
The Celtics may have blown 2 double digit leads to cleveland and 1 to Chicago in the last 10 days, but let it be known that they didn’t blow 2 double digits to both cleveland AND chicago.

I take a shot every time kornet contests a shot from the paint and they miss, it’s a fun game
I didn’t watch this game until the fourth but were all of derozens free throws similar to the ones he got in the fourth
JB has been such a net negative on the court this season so far. I know we’re only 8 games in but He’s gotta get his shit together. He’s playing like a bench player instead of a #2 option.
