Sengun had a rough night on defense, but is showing progression. But his improved effort really helped mitigate some of his struggles. The raps were really giving him a hard time. And jabari getting out muscled will still be a problem at least this season. So i hope teams don’t try to split sengun more. They might need to sit sengun in the fourth until his foot speed and jumping, or jabari’s strength improves. Though sengun will be a closer eventually. So jabari as a small ball 5 might be the better choice both for right now, and to help develop jabari. Because it is very obvious that even jabari’s floor is a great defender.
