People are ridiculous. If, for example, Sarver apologized and paid a fine, then all is well? Double standard from fans of Kyrie… If you want people to be held accountable for stupidity, ignorance, hate (inadvertent or not), and misinformation then keep the same energy. Things aren't only bad if the rich white owner does it. Kyrie just alienated and insulted an entire race of people by suggesting that the worst atrocity in the history of humanity never happened, and sharing hateful propaganda against them. Can you even imagine if an anti-black video came out, that denied all the barbarity of the American slave trade, and a white player promoted it? You have to be ignorant or stupid at this point to support Irving. All because he can dribble.
Don't forget he never actually apologized. He posted an apology to instagram after he realized he was in trouble, but was given many chances to clarify and/or apologize and outright refused while playing the victim himself. Again, after the punishment, he offered a donation to the ADL WHICH THEY REFUSED. Ask why they would refuse it…..
This is what helped me:
