They've been able to win a lot the past few weeks, but looking at each game they've barely been able to scrape out wins vs mediocre teams. I think this is just a stretch of easy games, yeah, they beat the bucks by 18 but aside from that the toughest team they played was the Pacers, a couple against the wizards, Detroit, etc.
In my opinion the nets season moving forward will be determined by what they do By the trade deadline… They are a great team right now but what they are doing is not adequate for the playoffs
Im the minority Celtics fan that really wanted to trade Brown and whatever the Nets asked for besides Timelord and Tatum. Now the Nets are going to win it all AND Brown will leave for absolutely nothing.
The Nets could easily be the #1 offensive team. They have so many great shooters who can go off at any given moment. Their defense has improved tremendously as well, thanks to the addition of Ben Simmons.
I still believe this Nets team needs a consistent 3rd scorer. Before the season I predicted that the Nets would make the Finals if healthy. That prediction was based off of my belief that Simmons would be that 3rd guy. So far that hasn't been the case. If they lose in the playoffs I feel like the lack of a 3rd scoring option will be a major reason why they lose
