Mock drafts 34 games into an 82 game season is crazy to me. But hey, a lot of hype and stress leading up to the actual lottery, and I’m here for it!

Amen is the biggest wildcard of the draft for me (which is saying something considering there are plenty of other wild cards this year). He has elite athleticism and great game feel, but I do not feel comfortable taking him at #3 until teams get him in their own gym and can take deeper looks at things like creating advantage against comparable athletes, and the big question of if his shot is salvageable…
If the Spurs like what they see in workouts, then #3 makes sense. I don’t think he’d be “the guy” like either of the top 2 would be, but he would fit our roster defensively, giving us a good on-ball option, and more on-ball creation on the other end. I’m worried about the spacing with him, Sochan, and Poeltl, but we’re not in position to be too worried about that for now.
