[Chris Vernon] Miami is set to be close to $20 million over the luxury tax next season after extending Tyler Herro to the 4-year, $130 million extension. Swapping Lowry — who is owed $29.7 million next season — for [D’Angelo] Russell’s expiring contract would solve that tax crunch.

This is how Minnesota can get a first from Miami as well. Recoup some picks.

I don’t like Lowry and Lowry with a wolves whistle isn’t going to be worth more than Dlo.

Verno! The most grizzled 12 year old in sports media.

From his lips to gods ears, let this trade happen.

My 3 least favorite players 2 years ago were Pat Bev, Gobert, and Lowry.

My least favorite now is Luka, Giannis, and prime LeBron just in case the trend continues

Why would we want the declining Lowry next year? This is one of those trade ideas that only makes half sense. Makes sense for Miami they clear up a salary problem. For the Wolves it extends a problem an overpaid guard who isn’t good enough for his money. What does Miami want to do to make it right for us give us 2 first round picks?

  6. Fully against this trade.

I’m not the biggest Dlo supporter but I don’t want a washed Kyle Lowry.

This would be a great idea

It’s so hard to talk NBA here because no one understands contracts and how they work.
