When you’re playing against a superstar and it a good tan, the fundamentals are dire! You have to do the little things. Fundamentals are extremely important. You HAVE to box out and stay engaged defensively. Not boxing out and losing where the three point shooters where killed us
in my opinion,knicks show a lot ,it gave up an idea of what we could be and more,however and give the team a good grade ,,but coaching was the issue in this game
excuse me,but do not blame the team ,the coach lost the game,fournier should never had to be in there in the 4 quarte ,when a team a loose a game like this one,it is the coach to win on loose
Every team in the league has some level of fear for the Knicks.. The knicks will be fine. Don't let the coach go. Ignorant to do so. Players gotta play. Stop looking for a savior every night and continue to play team basketball. Knicks are fine.
If we’re not going to play Cam (which we’re not) let’s trade him and get a solid wing back who vet savvy. Once RJ comes back Quickly will go back to the bench which will definitely help that unit!
KNICKS were up by 17, Thibs never adjusted to the Bucks shooting from the perimeter…the same idiotic mistake made in the majority of games lost this season.🤔
Poor coaching by Thibs. Call a time out when they were going on the run. It’s unacceptable to lose such lead. Far too often, we have given teams victory on silver platter. We have lost about 8 games in similar fashion by my count. Why should Hart play instead of Sims? He is clueless. On three occasions with open basket he fumbled. The no Spida trade will continue to haunt us
What is wrong is Coach Thibs. Let’s not play the ostrich or beat about the bush. How many times has he made adjustments during a game. For three years running, we have given teams open looks from three because of poor switching. Yesterday was classic example. Why is Thibs not fixing this flaw on the team? Three years running we can’t defend 3 pointers
The answer is simple…We don't have star caliber players to take over games, make clutch shots, clutch free throws or defensive plays when it's crunch time. That's when star players shine. We have good players but not a legitimate bona-fide star and until we get one the Knicks are basically a .500 team or a little bit better. All of the close games that we recently lost we got done in by the other teams star player.
Dallas..Luka scores 61. Memphis …Morant gets the rebound off a missed layup and puts it back in. Sixers…Embid and Harden go off in the 2nd half. Bulls…Derozan hits a clutch jumper in the final seconds. We just don't have that player yet that we can depend on. Brunson is the closest to that. 😐

Stress creates mistakes and indecisions for regular players with a lack of confidence …. Our average team is doing really good for …. .500

Refs willed them back into the game end of 3rd hella dubious …they are the on court hands of Adam silver, nudging constantly

We have Iso players and play Iso ball, they have one Iso player and play team ball.
