Westbrook is one of the best quarterbacks/point gurads in modern basketball – I'm not talking about Orly the NBA, but… ALL basketball. Russell seems to be unlucky? Difficult to decide… And this his style of play, his basketball energy, often hinders him more than helps. There is something very specific about him: "if he had someone to guide him, or rather, if he had the perfect mental and physical mentor and the perfect team for him, he would be the greatest quarterback/point guard in NBA history." Unless you can't beat the ego. So, maybe Russ fit the Bulls? There is an pure elemental energy needed there, while LaVine would add energy to balance the game in the Lakers team, something more stabilizing, which the Lakers need!
