    I liked Horny,

    Did not like Watson.

Be thankful for what we have now. God damn Watson was bad. Those were dark days

Hated seeing that happen to my dude. One of the last protege’s of the Cotton era. Can’t help but to believe he has much to offer a coaching staff.

7 years went by too damn fast! Been nice to be off the coach carousel for the last few seasons

  5. Watson was a total liability for the team. He did nothing to engage the locker room and the team was arguably at their lowest points in those days.

    He was an angry guy

Still can’t believe Hornacek was let go before Morris was traded. Pretty typical with how the team was run at the time, though.

dude took a team that was projected to win 18 games and won 48. Unfortunately that then set an unrealistic expectation for him given the roster that he just couldn’t keep improving on a short leash.

The bright side was that Watson didn’t give a shit about the season and just let Booker do what he wanted, which helped lay the groundwork for the player he’d become. Hornacek seemed only to want him as a bench shooter like Korver.
