    I know highlights can make anyone look good but I was really impressed with some of the passes he’s made for the Nuggets. Seems like an ideal player to bring on if we’re moving slow up the court (which is quite often atm)

    Love to see it. Can’t wait to see what he can do.

    It’s going to be interesting to see what he can do. Obviously getting drafted to team with Jokic and Murray, the ball wasn’t going to run through Bones a lot.

    Now he has a chance.

    Not just his passes as he is a willing passer but he also has great instincts cutting and more importantly with his off ball movement.

    He has a knack of floating to passing angles when his teammates get doubled and is a fantastic cutter.

    He has also improved his defence although he still sucks as a poa defender.

    He has improved mightly in team defense and more specifically is a terror roaming and cutting off passes to the corners especialoy bounce passes. Something we severely lack

    Kawhi and Roco are great deflecting passes there but not off the bounce.

    I do think Bones is our PG of the future personally.

    He’s got some really good quickness and craftiness to his game. We haven’t had a PG that can both push the pace and shoot, it’s either been one or the other, so he brings something much different to the table.

    Ok Bones! I like the confidence in his ability to play that role. Show us what you got my guy 🔥🔥🦴🦴

    I seen him run some pick and roll with jokic, his passing does seem pretty decent.

    I’m worried about his defense mainly. I think off the bench his defense will get exposed. The only way to disguise his defense is to probably start him with kawhi and better defenders. Not sure if he’s ready for that though

    Colour me skeptical. This isn’t the first time Bones has claimed to be more of a PG, but his play has never really backed this up. During his minutes without Jokic in Denver, he didn’t regularly show himself to be a decent distributor. And it’s not because Denver didn’t *need* him to fulfill that role. Early on in the season, their non-Jokic minutes were cheeks and Bones would always look for his own shot and only pass when both his first and second scoring options are shutdown. Denver has TONS of cutters too and Bones would always miss them (luckily he was efficient enough in the first half of the season to make up for it).

    With a lot of work, he could evolve into more than a 2-guard but I kinda doubt that’ll happen in a season or two, and it might not be playing to his strongest strengths in any case. He’s much more of a Clarkson, Poole or Herro than a Brodgon or Tyus Jones type backup.

    He seems like more of a scorer than a passer, but I’ve seen him make some shifty passes, too. In fact, ‘shifty’ is maybe the best way to describe him. He’s very active, bouncy, hard to predict.

    I’m excited about this kid.

    Plus the nickname options are gonna be great. Bizzy Bones when he’s on, Bones Dry when he’s not…

    * Bad to the Bones
    * Funny Bones
    * Bonesyard
    * Roll the Bones
    * Feelin’ it in his Bones
    * Bonesrattling dunk

    Yeah, it’s endless

    He’d be a good bench pg. still think Reggie was a better fit. As long as we secure a starting PG in the buyout market all should be well.

    I watch a lot of Denver games and I will say.. this dude dribbles the absolute air out of the ball and loves to take contested shots in the paint. Don’t get me wrong, I love bones and he’s capable of having electric nights, but I always hated watching him run point

  12. keenclipp

    He might be the perfect point gaurd for this team.
    Wall in an interview mentioned that the Clips don’t need a traditional point gaurd to hold the ball cause pg and the klaw are so ball dominant. They need some one who can knock down the 3 drive and keep the ball moving when necessary.
    There is evidence that this is true we tried Wall Rondo Bledsoe and although they aren’t the best it doesn’t look right.
    Either way I’m excited to see this new version of the Clips

  13. Only think I’m worried about is his tendency to take ill advised shots
