The title on the video is very misleading. Dirk is not a national treasure, he is a treasure to multiple nations! Dirk is loved by so many that National Treasure is and understatement. Wish Dirk well and hope he’s healthy and happy in life!

Dirk was a nationally ranked junior tennis and handball player as a kid in Germany. His dad played handball at the highest level which was a manly sport over there. He dropped it for the girly sport of basketball which his mom played professionally. Now he can barely play tennis as a middle aged man because he can no longer move. Guy gave it all to the sport.
