For a player that exaggerates contact so often and falls down clumsily whenever someone breathes near him, Embiid gets a bizarelly accommodating run from the refs.
Embiid would lead the league by a mile in “soft shooting fouls that should be non-calls” and “non-calls that should be fouls against”.

Can hardly bring myself to watch games where we play the 76ers – especially in Philadelphia, due to the extremely friendly whistle Harden and Embiid get. Absolutely infuriating to watch.

3rd game we lost within 16 seconds with a no call. Warriors/Lakers/6ers all on the road
4th quarter I believed we were hit with 8 PF
All this to say, no matter how much of a lead we have, it’s not over til the clock hits 0:00

This non-call wouldn’t annoy me much at all, but it does because we all know refs would make this call if the situation was reversed and Jaren did this to Embiid. Assuming his play keeps up to end the season, we’re about to have DPOY with one of the worst whistles in the league. Make it make sense.
