Man I remember watching the videos of our drafts that year with KJ and Luka. I was excited for both and time has shown you know obviously Luka is no longer with us. KJ though man the dude is a dog and the type of player the Spurs have needed for a long time right. Now same with Sochan and he's been improving so fast his rookie season. Back to KJ .. it's just so nice to see him growing though as a rookie to a leader now. He just bulldozer his way when he drives just like my favorite player ever Manu. Drive with no fear of outcome drive hard and strong. It's not fair to compare him to Manu you know it's just something I see in him the way he drives the lane. I hope we make sure that KJ never wants to go. He knows Spurs fans and SA got love for him and that's what's up. Same goes for young Devo man he's become a leader very fast and his game continues to improve. One of my favorite young bucks right now since we drafted him in 2020. As long as he stays healthy our team continues to grow even though this may be one of the toughest seasons in a very long time because nobody likes to lose but this is basketball and there's a process.
