The way nba scores fluctuate nowadays don’t think this record will ever be broken.

Him Duncan

He impacted winning so much in so many ways, especially with his defense. Even when his scoring declined, the team was still better off with him on the court. Miss watching that man play.

When you literally win 50 plus games every single year of your career which spans 20 years, and you’re on the court for typically. The most minutes are one of the larger portion of minutes, every single season, and again that 20 seasons results in the highest winning percentage in North American professional sports over those two decades… Yeah, honestly this number doesn’t surprise me too much.
I’ve said it another threads too, but if you look at a lot of the greats most of them have amazing accomplishments. But also most of those accomplishments in the era the league is heading into. I could see being broken at some point. Even some of the crazy things like Jordan’s championship streak or wilts 100 point game I think we’ll fall at some point.
But Duncan’s longevity records are things I seriously don’t think we’ll ever be broken. 20 season straight with 50 wins? Absolutely never happening again. All of the games played, wins, all the individual and team-based statistics with one team, also probably never going to be broken
Duncan is truly a freak, but he did it in such a very different way. It’s one of the reasons why he’s both one of the most decorated and appreciated superstars of all time, and yet somehow still criminally underrated. There’s just no real way to gauge just how good his career was unless you were living it

Wow, I did not know the margin between him and Lebron was that big.

When you see the record that he has it’s very understandable

It’s easy, just be a top 10 All-Time player and spend 19 seasons in the NBA with a winning team.

For 1, data only goes back to 1997.
Second, he is a top 10 player of all time who had great teams for most of his career.
