  1. He’s right, but he benefits from those “we missed it” calls more than just about anyone else

  2. He got at least 6 free throws because of those missed calls.

  3. Duster_beattle

lmao, can y’all act like adults in here. Young is taking advantage of the rules because the refs are incompetent, if the refs weren’t incompetent young wouldn’t do this. he literally said this before an interviews. “mister flopper” because hes a small af guard that drives the basket and creates contact, smh.

  4. Hes not wrong. He also doesnt realize he loses about 6ppg if the refs make the right calls and change the rules to fix the way the game is played today

  5. Cgmadman

Yes, he is right, but he shouldn’t be the one saying this. That would be like Barry Bonds saying we need to do something about this steroid issue in baseball. Timberwolves are 2nd most penalized teams in the league as well as having the most flagrants, most techs, most ejections. If anyone should be bitching about the refs, it’s us.

  6. The thread in the Hawks subreddit is pure irony.

  7. I think there should be fines and technical fouls for players embellishing contact and faking injury.

I do wonder if a 4th ref is needed. This way you have at least 2 view points on a given call. Especially when the ref making the call is behind the players and the players bodies screen the view of the action. I think a 4th ref could have waved off the foul call when Mcdaniels didn’t even touch Trae in the 4th.

Or to see when the opposing coach runs 3/4 the length of the floor on the court and doesn’t get noticed.

    1) Trae is not wrong. If refs publicly admitted they made a game-changing mistake in clutch Trae can be mad.

    2) The officiating in NBA is nuts. I think it’s always been like this, we simply did not have social media before and it was not that public. But these late game fouls on Trae have to go. The reason why Wolves did not challenge clutch calls is because they already spent the challenge to overturn another BS call. Had NBA given you the challenge back for the correct call Finch would have challenged 3-4 times and won all of them. The reason ATL had the challenge in clutch is that there were not BS calls for them during the whole game.

Ok mister I’m going to slow down and stick my ass out on purpose to hopefully get fouled every play 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

  11. turd_ferguon69

Edward Scissor legs talking like he doesn’t get every call

  12. PointGodAsh

Classic case of you’re not wrong you just shouldn’t be the one to say it.

  13. Tillie_to_the_wolves

These land fishes are in trouble next year when nba adds the rechallenge rule if you get it right the first time

  14. xAgnosticBluntx

Instagram casuals trying to fight me over this lil goon’s statements 🤣

  15. EmmitSan

the best was when Conley did a stop short and got the call and a Hawk defender is flailing his arms in desbelief.

Bruh do you even know what irony means lol

  16. penis_hernandez

They would’ve never been in a position to win the game without the Jaden phantom foul. They were down 4 or 5 at that juncture and traded 3 free points for an otherwise horrendous shot that would’ve further killed their momentum.

  17. Tommyatthedoor

Agreed, referees should miss games if they make a mistake. So should players, three turnovers and you get banned for the next game, fair is fair.

  18. Please tell me he did not say that after yesterday’s game?????

  19. XfitRedPanda

Floppy mcflop is mad that he got a hunch of non fouls but one borderline one was missed. You can’t argue for integrity playing the way he does – which is to take advantage of quick whistles by acting like contact that didn’t take place actually happened.

  20. kmelby33

His style if play is just awful. Jumping into people to get fouls.

  21. Dude should be called plot armor with how much the refs save his ass. How can he turn against his own kind like that?

  22. somuchcatses

Dude had 29 points on 6 made shots last night…

  23. swawesome52

Does Trae wanna rewind the tape on the game? Multiple fouls calls for him where he wasn’t even slightly brushed.

  24. There should be something similar to what the NFL had in place last season. If the refs are deliberating on a call and a referee who has access to a video replay has the ability to make the obviously correct call, make the change and keep the game moving. I see this more on out of bounds and possession calls. If it’s beyond that, let the coach use their challenge and if they win, they get one more.

  25. BSince1901

Do NBA refs actually have power over Silver or what? I don’t get why they don’t want to take on any actionable solutions to improve the NBA’s image and products.

  26. Alejandroandro

Bro fuck this guy he doesn’t play basketball he plays refball he gets no space to complain

  27. CompetitivelyAverage

Bro shot 16 free throws last night. Come on man

  28. tlollz52

Do NBA players get fined or suspended when they perform poorly? Or does it only happen when they act like ass holes?

  29. Deep_Market5748

Sometimes the players benefiting the most saying it means more than anyone else

  30. GreekFreak50piece

He lost any ability to talk here with that flop of the year on that 3 last night…

I’m so glad our sub knows the truth about him.
