Kristaps Porzingis had 32 points and 13 rebounds, and the Wizards boosted their flickering postseason hopes with a 130-111 victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night. Deni Avdija matched a career high with 25 points and added 10 rebounds for Washington. Monte Morris scored 19 points. Deni Avdija, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle Kuzma all have different skill sets that can complement Bradley Beal’s game. Avdija is a versatile player who can play multiple positions, which means he can take some of the pressure off Beal as a primary ball-handler and playmaker. Avdija’s court vision and passing ability also mean that he can create scoring opportunities for Beal and other teammates.

Avdija and Kispert are doing well just because they're rolls are not limited by the coach and organization. if they would have let Deni play freely and touch the ball more then once every 20 positions he would have done all that and more from year one.
If the All Star voting wasn’t a complete joke Porzingis would have been one 100%

Deni is not a typical 3 and D guy. We know that by now. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective. The problem is, Beal wants to run the show from the point, and when he does the offense usually runs between himself , Kuz and KP, and sometimes Kispert as the 3pt sniper. In this scenario Deni is the odd man out who's there only for defensive assignments.
The problem is really Bradly Beal. Not because he's a bad player, but he's not a superstar worth a SuperMax no-trade contract, so the Wizards can't keep him as well as extend Kuz and KP, to make a serious run at the playoff next year.
I think their best course of action would be to trade Beal wherever he want's to go, even for a bag of chips, then use the cap savings to extend KP and Kuz and a mid level extension to Deni , plus give Beal's slot to Kispert and JD and draft best player available for next year's bench.
i think deni needs the authority to take shots & drive at the basket if we wanna enjoy him
when beal and kuz are playing, deni rarely gets the ball, and we both miss on his talent & lower his confidence
if the wizards want to work this pseudo big 4, they need to come up with a method that allows Deni to feel like Turbo while also enjoying the offensive capabilities of the other 3
I don't think kristaps is staying bro lol
The wizards should just blow it all, trade Beal, Kuz and KP and rebuild around Corey and Deni. They should get as much pucks as they could get and just le the young core the much needed experience. It's even time to let Johnny Davis shine
As long as this time will still keep trying to force each individual to do whatever he wants, it'll be shitty.
The moment Bill and Kuzma are out, they give Dani the authority to handle the ball, they are completely different team, they play as a team, they pass the ball.
Take a look of all their 4th quarters with Bill and Kuzma, what a shitty team they are, losing games because they stop playing as a team, each one is trying to force the game, do whatever he wants.
Dani is always looking for the right pass, the next play, how to get his teammates in a better position, he is a team player.
imo the roles between kuz and deni should be switched. Kuz is currently that point forward but deni does a much better job handling the ball and facilitating and kuz does a better job shooting the 3 ball than deni.
He IS a good NBA player
Keep Deni, KP and let Kuzma walk and trade Beale. Then build round the young players Goodwin, JD, Gaff, and other youngsters
idk… KP is looking great, but when you look at the stats, they are winning a lot more when he's out (7-4) compared to when he's playing (27-38). TBH I think that they have good enough players to be a playoff team, and the main problem is the coach.
Next year's lineup should be PG deni SG Wright SF corey/draft pick PF Gaff C KP and Goodwin will be the point guard of the bench
Beal needs to go like now
Deni is the king
KP is a baller. love watching him play. silky smooth. glad he’s healthy
Sup,
Seems Deni is most effective with the ball.
Deni can play the 3 but there is no shot clock if Monte passes to Brad, then Kp, then Kuz…
Brad has to run Pg, then play or pass.
I'd rather move Brad to wherever he wants to get go, get a Player and Picks and let Kp and Kuz lead the team..with Deni, Kory and Gaff👍
the funny thing to me about the off-season training with hanlen is he only spent a couple of weeks working with him since he played with his national team for over half the summer so he didn’t even get a full off-season with him
Beal just don’t fit the team tbh
For next year' starting 5 should be Morris (or new point guard, hopefuly Kyrie), Kory, Deni, Bill, KP.
They can also choose to play with the two bigs, as needed..
The last thing needed is a different coach, someone with winning experience.
I don't see how they can keep Kuzz from getting 30 mil somewhere else.
Deni has a great feel for the game, but isn't a natural shooter. He should watch how Manu Ginobili plays in the half court.
KP will become a Knick this summer
This team has too much talent to be fighting for a play-in spot. The problem is coaching and a weak bench. It will now cost way too much money to make another run at it with the core group. Blow the team up and build around KP. Keep Deni, Korey, Gaff and Delon. Everyone else tradable
this team has to build around KP, not Beal. You cant compare all around effectiveness of KP vs Beal.
