He had some nice things to say post-game about his time here. Maybe the most sincere he’s ever been about leaving OKC.
What do y’all make of this? I’ve firmly been in the fuck KD camp since July 4th, 2016, but seems like he’s grown a bit since then.
Despite getting booed, KD said “there was more love this time than there has been in the past” in OKC. pic.twitter.com/hNcA5hPLPY

He does this all the time, maybe not these exact words but it’s in the ballpark.
He looks like he turned a corner and then one day he decides to go on a random podcast to shit on Oklahoma or the franchise, it’s been one step forward two steps back for years now. Time again will tell if it sticks this time.
Dude wants to ring chase when his current contract expires lmfao
Obviously it’s nice to hear him say nice things about his time here, I think everyone can agree that at least it’s nice to hear him reflect positively on some of the people that certainly had a big influence on him after all his years here as a young man.
But it is hilarious to hear him still acting like people were/are mad at him just because he left us in free agency lol
Definitely spun it a bit in this interview to be like “I get it, communities care about their teams and I left, so there’s emotions there” and it’s like, again dude, you left us for a 73 win team that beat us in the WCF while you were up 3-1 on them and while it felt like you had a foot out of the door during the end of that series
I’ll be honest. It’s been 7 years, some fans just need to let it go and remember the good times with KD. Don’t understand why they insist on harboring resentment
I think we can move on. What he did was pretty shitty but if you’re still upset, it’s sort of petty. We have a new team to look forward to.
I think the ice is starting to thaw on both sides. Slowly. He signed autographs before the game yesterday.
