This was the team everyone would love to see on a nightly basis. They aren't always that, but I am glad that they showed everyone who they can be after KOC tried to cover for his muse by shoveling amazingly unfounded shit on our franchise despite the numerous justified reasons to shit on us. Excellent win considering the noise surrounding Trae and their record in Miami. Nevertheless, they persevered and came through with a crucial win that could restore some respectablility to an otherwise poor season. To compete with Boston, Coach Quinn must extend roster utilization to include Griffin, Mathews, Holiday and even Kreici. Hawks' FT shooting was atrocious!

We need to start the second half with a more offensive oriented lineup if we have a lead we need to protect . A Collins , Capella and Hunter front court jams us up offensively . Especially if John isn’t hitting shots . All three lack feel , play making and fluidity on the offensive end. None of them can really handle the ball, they aren’t good at creating opportunities for teammates, none of them can really create their own shots, so the offense looks a little voy it and when collins and Hunter aren’t making shots it just becomes impossible for them to find a groove offensively . Capela is a center and he can be elite on the boards so he compensates with the second chance opportunities and physicality in the paint . Collins and Hunter…. It just gets ugly if they aren’t making shots and they don’t really do anything at a top tier level to compensate for there shortcomings. Hunter I doesn’t rebound , can’t dribble, can’t pass and create opportunities. John is decent in the boards but he has no strong offensive skill set . Saddiq is a microwave scorer. High energy, just plays with more fluidity and feel. Can create his own shot. Jalen has more size and length so he’s able to use his athleticism more effectively than John, who seems to have lost a little bounce. Jalen is also great at facilitating and creating easy baskets for other teammates . He still plays a little too fast but the more time he gets the more he and the game will slow down. I know we like what Hunter brings defensively but it’s always a bad run of offensive possessions that is our undoing. If John and Hunter aren’t making shots , I’d like to see more minutes in other places.
