Couple of additional comments to another fine analysis. I'll admit I get a little squirrelly when Fox shoots 3's and is missing. But that feeling starts to go away in the 3rd quarter and is gone in the 4th quarter. In a clutch situation, game on the line, Fox is a natural born killer, even from 3 as you saw in both playoff games.
The Kings are also a 2nd half team. That's the best kind. They tend to start slow, ratchet up in the 2nd quarter, throttle you in the third quarter and then if you're still in the game in the 4th quarter they are one of the best closing teams in the league. This is new for them this year, and COY Mike Brown has to be the difference. Last year, they lost a lot of games in the 3rd quarter and if they were close in the 4th, they were nervous and unreliable.
I think they have an excellent chance of not only winning this series, but winning it in less than 7. With a team like the Warriors, Mike Brown knows you need to close them out before a "lose and go home" game. Sabonis still looked out of sorts in the 2nd game. Did he play better? Yes. But he still didn't score like normal, rebounded at a lesser clip and his assists are way down. Huerter looked better, but he still is uncharacteristically struggling from the 3 point line. Keegan Murray really hasn't contributed at all and he was nails in the regular season. Not sure what's going on there, but if he wakes up the Warriors may be in big trouble. Fox is getting it done, but honestly he can play better offensively. Defensively he's been tough on the Warriors though, so it evens out for Swipa the Fox. If Alex Len regains his late season and game 1 form, that also makes it tougher for GS's 2nd unit which is being outplayed by the Kings 2nd unit. And Barnes is underperforming so far this series despite being solid, especially defensively. Most importantly, the Kings have never encountered the physicality of the playoffs and it has really thrown off their offense. As they adjust, watch out!

Also to add to De’Arron Fox about being a nightmare matchup, he’s also a TWO WAY PLAYER!! Guards the best player on the other side as well and gets steals/deflections, etc… and the most clutch player this season!! Like you said earlier, missed a lot of 3’s but hit one that counted the most late.

The officiating has been terrible granted my range of scope is basically the Kings and warriors series. first game they basically let everyone be super physical and the game 2 they were blown their whistles all night. Second game last 4 hours from all the free throws 😂 Knicks have a nice squad with Randle and RJ Barrett. My prediction is they will win in 7. Back to the Kings man, this team special for real. The Kings had the 5th best defense in the league on the road, while winning more road games then home games, the most road games in the west, and the 2nd most road wins in the league, while maintaining the greatest offense in league history on the road. What I'm saying is: KINGS IN 4. LIGHT THE BEAM!
Everyone is conveniently forgetting that Golden State won 8 of their last 10 games. They had flipped the switch. The only reason people are pretending like the Warriors are washed up is because the Kings are making them struggle. The Warriors have played extremely well. The Kings have just played better.
The evidence of how well the Warriors have played is that the Kings have been playing like bats out of hell and still just edging the Warriors. As hard as the Kings have been playing, they should be running Golden State out of the gym. And, maybe they would be if they could hit a jump shot. But at least one reason the Kings shooting has been so terrible is that the Warriors have thoroughly dismantled the Kings' DHO game. Shut it down completely. The Warriors should actually be curbstomping the Kings. But the Kings are just willing themselves to victory.
We're not seeing the Warriors fail. We're seeing the Kings fight like wild dogs while simultaneously keeping mistakes to a minimum. Despite the mediocre shooting, the Kings are just playing really amazing NBA Basketball. They don't deserve to have their success scapegoated by blaming it on the Warriors' deficiencies.
Many moons ago, when the Warriors were in their Optimus Prime, the Marc Gasol Memphis Grizzlies were making the Warriors look like clowns. How? By playing really physical, aggressive Defense. But ultimately, they just didn't have enough Offense to close the deal. Now, the Warriors are facing super aggressive Defensive pressure AND playing against an All-World Offense. This same exact formula would have given the Warriors fits in any of their Championship seasons.
The Warriors have always been bothered by hard nosed Defense. It's just that teams that play hard noses Defense can't usually keep up Offensively. Yes, the Warriors had an up and down year. But they are healthy now, and contrary to popular opinion, they are playing like the Warriors.
The Warriors are healthy and dangerous. But the Kings are just imposing their will on the Warriors in a way that we don't often see. This is the best Basketball we've seen since the Cavs came back from being down 3-1. It's a shame that the narrative doesn't align with the reality.
