I’ve said this against the Kings, but Jordan Poole is the biggest difference for this team. If he was playing even near what everyone know he can, Warriors odds of repeating would be nuclear.

Is this the definition of fumbling the bag after receiving it?

  2. Its almost if a punch from someone has affected him in some negative way.

  3. RealDannyMM

Why is he still getting minutes 😭

  4. I imagine that if at my job i got sucker punched by a coworker and the company essentially did nothing, my motivation to perform at the highest level would be lower.

  5. Curious-Gain-4991

He needs to seriously just stop shooting three

  6. george_costanza1234

35-28 is crazy 💀💀 those are bottom player in the league numbers

  7. I was watching his highlights from the ’22 playoffs and he was legit mystical. Made that long range 3 from Lakers game 1 on several occasions. That video length was about 22 mins, vs some 22-23 regular szn highlight vid that was only 15 mins long. The drop off is baffling!

  8. Personal-Selection71

Mans got his bag and said fuck getting better

  9. ArtfulLying

Well since he no longer wants to play basketball he can hand back the cap space so we can do something with it.

  10. dnesdnal17

Robbed the bank w kindness this man.

    Absolute swindle

  11. North_Street_8547

He’s not going to help get this team another ring if he doesn’t like them. Why add to somebody’s legacy if they punched you? Helping get this core another ring is only gonna benefit their legacy more. Poole can be good but he won’t go down in history and he knows that. He got his one ring. His bag and he will gladly go to a new team next season. And im sure he’ll play better. I wouldn’t say he is intentionally playing bad. But will say he is intentionally not trying. He doesn’t like these guys anymore. It’s obvious

Keeping dreymond in the dressing room pretty much effed Poole up. It’s not going to change till that is fixed. Pool is legit but can’t undermine players like him for jokers like drey. Team has real character if you put some good pieces and give them the necessary importance and visibility – looney, kuminga, donte, wiggins, moody, poole. It can still be a championship team with Steph and Klay playing anchor. The rest of the grifters need to go and traded for some good talent.

  13. quicktojudgemyself

I feel like the Warriors blew it trading the wrong young player. Kuminga hasn’t show me much. Poole post getting his chin checked has checked out. His effort and body language are very poor.

  14. Dogsaregoodfolks

He got his money and quit caring to improve. The quicker we can move on from this clown the better.

  15. happiwarriorgoddess

And if he doesn’t then he is a liability and we should play someone else instead

  16. Suicycho69

Something’s not ticking with him this year.. Is it the incident with Dray? Is it his role? Is it pressure by the fans? Maybe a combination of all these together. Last post season I was so confident with whatever decision he took during games. This year I’m always holding my breath waiting for the worse to happen. Shame

  17. Competitive-Ice3432

Maybe Warriors shouldn’t give huge contracts to players that have one fluke year.

  18. electricHats75

35% and 28%. And he about to get paid how much???

  19. baan1994

People keep mentioning his shooting but in reality it’s his stupid decision making, his dribbling, turnovers, fouls, clumsiness…etc

  21. cock-a-dooodle-do

Get this bum off this team if he continues to play like this.

  22. enblightened

some people saying jordan poole not being on any teams gameplan is why he was so good last playoffs but i disagree, he was hitting a lot of difficult shots especially when none of our vets could get any momentum in the finals. None of these dudes other than curry can get in attack mode and lock in offensively except for what klay showed with his 8-11 3pt showing in g2. Poole cannot play minutes with lebron and AD on the floor

  23. walkingthecows

I’d love for him to figure it out.

  24. Eequuality

Draymond knocked him out cold at practice… still lingering?

  25. oops_im_wrong

Poole has been inconsistent and him playing better will definitely help the Warriors chances. However, unless DDV and Kuminga remember how to play defense and make open shots, the Warriors are likely not repeating.

Poole is the obvious scapegoat and problem but Donte was the best bench player the entire year and JK was a solid 7 or 8 option off the bench. Both guys and GP2 were supposed to spearhead a strong defensive bench unit but they have massively underperformed through 10 playoff games.

I’ll give GP2 a pass for being sick and injured but DDV and Kuminga disappearing are killing the Warriors as much as JP’s inconsistencies. I get the JP3 criticism but the entire bench has been a disaster outside of Moody.

  26. RikiPooch

He’s genuinely just not been good the whole season. He had a few stretches of strong games when Steph was out, which bumped his scoring average, but in reality he’s been pretty awful. Doesn’t make shots, loses the ball stupidly all the time and awful on defense. It’s crazy cause when I watch this team I fell like we’re kinda better than everyone else, it’s juste the difference between last year and this year is that we’re juste bleeding a crazy number of possessions because of Poole/Kuminga/Moody/Wiseman playing more. Like what we do well makes us better than the other teams, it’s just it seems like we throw away 7-8 points of net rating every game on stupid Poole plays.

  27. NeverFake

Keep in mind, last season he had ZERO pressure. The fans didn’t expect much and neither did the teams

  28. bumpkinspicefatte

What getting punched does to a mf

  29. eexxiitt

I would be playing that bad too if I was dealing with CTE.

  30. MikeLilPauseRodick

I honestly believe he is intentionally playing this way because of draymond.

  31. pericles123

that contract kicking in next season is easily the worst in the league – awful decision making, awful defense, awful shot selection. Dude can shoot, but everything else is just plain bad.

  32. johnjohnjohn93

Didn’t play much in the finals either because he’s awful at defense so if he’s not putting up elite numbers on offense he’s just not worth it

  33. Lazy-Lawfulness3472

Seems like young players who get their first big contract, sometimes have a problem season. Is it cause they don’t feel worthy? Or they feel the pressure to preform at the highest level all the time to justify all that money. Frequently, you’ll see a disastrous season, dotted with occasional flashes of the expected performances.

  34. BeetLover1111

That’s depressing…Steph is as good as last year, Klay much better, Draymond – actually playing better during the 2023 playoffs (other than games 1 & 3 in this series I guess), Wiggins – elite 2 way player even though we just got him back, looney – just getting better, moody – hustler and such a great surprise, Poole could be such a huge difference especially on nights when Steph and Klay’s shots won’t go in.

  35. user21001

He rather trick off half a million with ice spice

  36. ELNCHOPPA

He needs to go into the klay role and stop dribbling and just shooting on the catch or around screens. Curry and Poole need to be on the court together at all times if Poole still gets minutes.

  37. urfavgirlsarah

Jesus he’s a real stinker this season

  38. introvertedguy13

Gsw signing JP for this amount of money after one season of great play is like a bro marrying a girl after a few great dates.

  39. His body language says “disinterested.” Frustrating to watch. Get players out there who give a fuck.

  40. northx57

Him offering nothing would be an improvement since he’s actively hurting the team when he’s on the floor

  41. benergiser

counter point.. pool is NOT the answer for this series..

and we should instead be running for plays for wiggins to get into the paint to break their effective doubling of steph

  42. Thrillawill

Your first mistake is using a FLUKE playoff season (2022) as his baseline. Hes an awful player with very low BBIQ. Last season was a complete fluke.
