  1. But we were involved in the lottery. We had a chance at a Dallas pick that didn’t convey. Getting a much lesser haul than a late lottery pick is a loss

Unless we were in the article title, hard to see how this was “Knicks for clicks”….everything that’s mentioned in blurb is true (though I imagine we’re less “hurt” about the 23 pick since we have Hart instead)

we still have their pick. it didn’t evaporate or turn into a 2nd. dallas can’t touch any of their firsts for a trade the next 2 seasons unless they drop protections. we didn’t necessarily have any room in the rotation for a rookie. i want any “extra” minutes to go to sims and deuce. tanking for the 10th overall pick cost them a second and might drive kyrie away, who cost them a bunch of assets to get.

the mavs are the losers in this scenario. enjoy Grade E Dick.

Here the media isn’t labeling them as losers, just in the context on the lottery, they did lose out. Just facts. It’s not that serious

The article isn’t wrong. We had a shot at getting a lottery pick, but naturally, the lottery boned us and the Mavs keep their pick. I’d call that a loss

It really is incredible how hard the media works to create a negative narrative for us.

I mean we were a loser because Adam Silver is a soft ass commissioner. They should have gifted us that pick
