   So much chatter about the kid’s jumper but people are overlooking the intangibles and “things you can’t teach” that he brings instantly to this team. Stuff that makes him valuable and why he’s been considered a top prospect for years.

   There’s way more to the game then just scoring. We need a connective playmaker in the starting lineup. As well as a tenacious defender in the backcourt to pair with Jalen. Amen checks both boxes. Jalen, Jabari, & Sengun are the primaries with ideally a 3&d SF to close it out.

   Shooting will need to develop for him to be a serious player on a contending team but we’re so far from that to be worrying about it rn. Just based off of feel for the game, playmaking IQ, defense and athleticism, I could see Amen being a high floor player in the right system and someone who helps right away by making the team better with his passing. People act like Giddey isn’t helping the Thunder by basically playing this exact way that Amen is built for. A hyper athletic Giddey sounds awesome.

   That’s why I said put KpJ at 3 and throw Amen at pg. he’ll be surrounded with shooters with KPJ, Bari, and Green. And then we’ll have two facilitators and two playmakers in our starting lineup. Ime should be able to build a scheme around Amens strengths and shortcomings

   I see Russell Westbrook but taller. And that’s pretty damn good i think
