I would only trade Embiid if he demands a trade and then only for a HUGE deal like that Knicks hypothetical). If he wants to stay, I'm fine with him staying. Harden has to go though, and I really don't care if we can't immediately match his regular season productivity. That to me would be addition by subtraction

Ebid is 29 and he does have a health issue. He doesn't have to play huge minutes though with Hartenstien and maybe see some Randal at 5 too so Obi gets more minutes. Knicks dynasty is about to take its final form.

I'm a Knicks fan and no way we want embid. We already experienced playoff flameouts with Randle, who also isn't really championship material when it really counts. A decade ago Philly started the "brilliant process" of losing on purpose to eventually win. How's that working out for you? You're not alone, democrats doing the same thing in our country, but you can learn from them and blame everyone else at least…

my thing is why not trade Embiid the same thing happened with AI we kept him around towards the end of his prime and we couldnt field a team around him anymore to make playoff runs and we didnt get close to the value we couldve got for him in his prime. Theres no team you could put around him now with limited cap and no picks to make this team go to the finals let alone make it past the 2nd round. So we will keep him do nothing again in the playoffs until his value drops to the floor and start all over again anyways. No trade Embiid let Harden walk or sign and trade and start over. Its time. we seen what Embiid is and what we can do with Embiid.

I would trade Embiid to OKC for Chet and picks right NOW. OKC might think they’re ready to compete and they’re done with their rebuild. They have so many guys on rookie contracts and can afford to pay Embiid. Chet and Maxey would be an awesome combo. I’m all for it.
