Die hard Spurs fan here but no he’s not lol. Lebron is the greatest prospect of the last 50 years. I’m old enough to have grown up through that time period and remember it well. Y’all have no idea what a massive sensation he was. We were all watching his high school games on ESPN and talking about him at school every day. There was no social media so this is what sports fans spent their time doing. He was all the talk everywhere. He was massive. He was 100% the greatest prospect in modern times. Better than Hakeem in ‘84, better than Shaq in ‘92, better than Duncan in ‘97, better than Yao in ‘02, better than Oden in ‘07, better than AD in ‘12, better than Zion in ‘19, etc. He was the biggest and best NBA prospect entering the draft ever, period.
I dont think Wemby is the best prospect in terms of sheer upside but people are down playing him playing against grown men and NCAA level players since he was 15. Hes essentially been a pro since 15
He’s too young and way too raw to “build around him” immediately. Tim Duncan was mature beyond his years when he entered the NBA at 22. This kid is 19. He’s gonna have to fit into a system for awhile and learn the ropes.

He only played 30 game seasons in France he can’t just play 80+ in a more physical league
