  1. We are fraudulent. We’re not real title contenders.

  2. HailKyrie

First time I’ve seen this core quit entirely. I never wanted to see Jaylen/Jayson broken up but after this series……

  3. Idiosonic

Guys don’t worry, it’s like Joe pointed out after game 1, quarters won are what really matters and we’ve won 6 of the 12 quarters this series so it’s actually a 1.5-1.5 series. We’re all tied up. This 0-3 hole is pretty fake and advanced analytics don’t lie.

Tatum: not a leader, rarely takes over a game, shrinks frequently, no midrange game, mentally weak

Brown: tunnel vision, TO machine, useless when he cant hit shots, kills possessions, overrated D

Smart: does hero ball too much, dumb plays, regressed defense

    Horford: regressed def, cold shooting

White playing like a traffic cone on def

Brogdon: bad def, tunnel vision, bad turnovers

Mazulla: terrible adjustments, lineup, timeouts, too scared to bench players, not much he does well tbh

Offense: relies too much on 3s, no ball movement in crunch time, too much drive and kicks

Defense: late rotations, leaving too mamy open 3s, doesnt get back in transition

    Team is utterly mentally weak

    Am I missing anything?

    I’m a baseball fan now.

    Disclaimer: I hate watching baseball.

  6. derekgoodspeed

At least I can finally, openly express my hatred for Joe Mazzulla without feeling like I’m rooting against the team I watch religiously. Season is over. Get this entitled, bratty weirdo who can’t handle the smallest bit of criticism off this team ASAP. You think star players can infect a team with bad energy? I’ll raise you the fucking **head coach**. I could accept his failures much more readily if he didn’t act like he’s Bill fucking Belichick and smarter than everyone in the room when he’s neither won nor earned anything yet. What a waste of a head coaching position. What a waste of a season.

  7. jamesb_33

This game wasn’t as close as the final score suggests.

  8. super_duper_7535

The bench played with more heart down 30 than the stars did down 10. Sickening.

  9. I was pissed going into the 4th quarter. Fuck this team playing with zero passion. Then they have the nerve to say the Garden isn’t bringing energy. How about for once this team shows some fucking energy. It was so bad this game the announcers were even saying it’s embarrassing.

This team gets once last chance. Our “stars” just spent a full quarter on the bench while the Heat dropped 3 after 3 on us. Their bench players laughing at us. If this doesn’t light a fire in them and piss them off going into Game 4 then blow this fucking team up.

  10. Georgia4life

Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson looking like the splash brothers

  11. w1nn1ng1

    Season = over. Heart = none. Embarrassment = 100

  12. RampagingKoala

One more game until I don’t have to care about basketball anymore let’s just get this shit over with

  13. chromatic19

watching a 2nd south florida 8 seed cook us in the playoffs man… jesus christ. “if i had nickel”

    fuck this years’ playoffs

  14. EverydayPhilisophy

Did she just say largest defeat in Celtics basketball history?

  15. Jpgamerguy90

Keep Tatum and try building a new team around him. This Tatum/brown/smart thing has been around for 5 years or so and they continue to underachieve.

I’m done arranging the chairs in the titanic. Nuke this team from space.

  16. CubesJackson

If the Heat beat the Hawks in that play in game the Celtics would have had a first round exit.

  17. ChipotleGuacamole

Worst loss in franchise history. Most embarrassing at least.

  18. jaylenbrownisbetter

She just told bam this was the biggest playoff defeat in Celtics history. That’s not true, they brought up when we lost by nearly 50. The announcers started bringing up the old embarrassing stories 😂

  19. The heat are playing with house money, there is absolutely no pressure on them whatsoever, no one, not even the miami media or fans, expected them in the ECF, so they are playing carefree and loose. On the other hand there is a ton of pressure on the Celtics. They were the unanimous number one seed before the season started, and they stocked up on bench depth. They are feeling the pressure and the supporting cast is crumbling.

  20. antoinewhitewalker

THE 2023 BOSTON CELTICS HAVE DEFEATED THE PHOENIX SUNS TO BECOME THE CHAMPIONS OF PUKING ON THEIR OWN DICKS.

  21. Skibum990

“So many Doomers on this sub”

    Uh huh…

  22. Kr1sKross

I swear Jaylen in the regular season looks unstoppable. As soon as the playoffs start he dribbles off his foot, forces turnovers, and takes bad shots.

  23. AFCFinalistsColts

With the exception of Tatum, I think everything is on the table when it comes to the roster next season. This mix just doesn’t work, they need a major shakeup.

And by the way I’m not saying Tatum is without blame, but the Celtics have no other choice but to keep building around him.

  24. RiffsThatKill

1983 the team got swept by the Bucks early after winning the finals and making it to ECF game 7 prior.

The team shut down on Bill Fitch (except Larry, who was cool with Fitch but oblivious to his teammates problems with him, it seemed). That’s why they got swept.

They get rid of Fitch and make KC Jones the coach. They turn it around and win the Finals in 83-84.

It’s not over for them next year or the years after, but they need SOME change or wakeup call. Maybe it’s the coach.

  25. coffeespeaking

Shaq: ‘since the Celtics quit, can we quit?’

Fucking blow it up. No starter on the floor tonight deserves to wear the green.

  26. SPURS fan here, Ime was the heart of that Celtics team last yr. Now yall stuck with The NBA version of Jason Garrett “The Clapper” redux. I was rooting for yalls team in the East, but man that was brutal to watch.

  27. Rishikrish29

Keep Tatum, keep Timelord, everyone else can be on the trade block and fire MazzuLLa
