At least Embiid is humble about not being good enough to win a championship. He knows he isn't that good and admits to his shortcomings. Tbh Embiid makes a better 2nd option than he does 1st option, he just isn't good enough of a closer and doesn't influence the game enough to be successful in the playoffs.
Harris AND Maxey scored more than Embiid in this game and Harden was the lowest scorer out of all the 76ers starters…. He's right they can't win alone cause THEY aren't good enough lol.

I was very disappointed in Joe when I first heard it but, in defense of Embiid, he responded to the question that asked about 'him and James taking the next step as a tandem'. It was a while before he got to the part where he said he and James can't win alone. If had said ' we cant win it alone' immediately after the question then it would be a very humble response. I think he is acknowledging that it will take a team effort to win a championship and not throwing his teamates under the bus. Play it from the 6:07 mark and see what you think.
