I’ll be honest, I’ve lived here for 30 years, and always rooted for the Nuggets, but my fandom was generally casual, as I never expected them to do anything. And spending too much energy rooting for a team that rarely seemed to care as much as I did felt like a waste of effort.
But in the Jokic era, I’ve become a superfan.
My opinion on fandom has long been that it’s on the team to give me a reason to be a fan. I’m not their cheerleader. They have to work for my attention, not the other way around.

Can we just happily accept all fans looking for a team to root for?
Enjoy the quality of basketball that’s going to be played in these Finals. Either Nuggets-Celtics or Nuggets-Heat is going to be great.
The only requirement I’d put in for joining the Nuggets bandwagon is rooting for Miami to beat Boston. The Finals home court advantage needs to go through Denver (and I’d really rather not play the first ever team who just came back from a 0-3 deficit)

I moved here this year! Stoked to finally be somewhere that has its own NBA team

I’ve been a Nuggets fan for years but before that I was a Kings fan because of where I grew up. This is the first time in years I’ve watched the NBA playoffs mostly because both Denver and Sacramento were in it. I think a lot of the bandwagoning is coming from the fanbases that don’t have a team with the level of talent the Nuggets currently have but also hate the Lakers as well. In short, Jokić and the Nuggets represent the ultimate vindication machine against the big market media and NBA marketing bias.

I am a bandwagon fan since the bubble. Did it cause I like Jokic passing game and the double 3-1 comeback convinced me.
Im from Asia, so I dont have a hometown team. But my first and forever teams will always be the spurs. Manu Ginobilli will always be my Goat. Too bad I never watched the big 3 live. I only start watching basketball casually in 2015.
Teams that I used to support were: Hornets and Warriors.
Warriors (2019) cause I want to see them tri-peat.
Hornets (2017) cause I only watched basketball casually at that time and I didn’t know any better. Kemba was my favorite player in that team. I stop supporting them after Kemba left.
The current team I support right now is: Mavs, Heat, Nuggests, and Spurs.
I support Mavs, Heat, and Nuggets cause my favorite players in them. Luka, Jimmy, and Jokic.
So yeah, I’m a player bandwagoner unless it’s Spurs.

Maybe we could have all the non-believers sign it too while we’re at it? 🙂 https://www.reddit.com/r/denvernuggets/comments/13mtcmi/gdt_r3g3_nuggets_lakers_nuggets_lead_20_may_20/jkxbyyy/
I hate this form. It seems to be a pro-Lebron form. Use the one that was circulating before the lakers series.
