Looks like lively is rising up the boards from his pro day workout where he showed a nice three point shot. I’d prefer hendricks or walker but given that lively started out the season at duke with some injuries and seeing his maturity+how he’s improved his game makes me pretty happy with him at #10

I’d be satisfied with: Dereck Lively, Leonard Miller, Kobe Bufkin, or Noah Clowney. Bilal Coulibaly is very tempting but I don’t think the Mavs have the time to wait on him, he’s 2-3 years away from contributing.

Cason has the potential to be a game-breaking guard defender. He’s amongst the best defenders in this draft if not #1. This team desperately needs defense & toughness.
I actually like Gradey Dick a lot, but I think Cason is the better pick if the board falls like this.
Also for all the people demanding to trade the pick: Yall know another team has to WANT the pick right? It’s not 2K, we can’t just decide to trade it. Also a team has to give us back a piece good enough for Dallas to be deem it worth paying this mystery player over just taking the young, cheap talent. Especially with the new CBA rule hitting soon. We shouldn’t just be rushing to add salary for the hell of it.
