If there's no big name that we could trade for, I wouldn't risk trading JB but he has to work on his handles and I think JT has a double threat more either scoring or assisting.

I agree with Perk that it would do this team some good to have some former players on the staff who have played here before. Part of the reason why there isn't is because it was Udoka who put this current group together and it was mostly made up of his guys,former teammates & coaches that he had been around at previous destinations.
Joe was never meant to be this team's head coach and only got the interim tag a day before training camp started after Ime was suspended so there was never really an opportunity for him to bring in coaches that he might be familiar with let alone former Celtics players.
I think part of the reason why Boston hasn't retained more former players onto their coaching staff is 1) guys like Bird,Parish,McHale & Ainge from that 80's era are all up there in age at this point and 2) not everyone wants to go into coaching especially on an assisted coaches salary. With how much money that we see just the average NBA players make over the past 20-25years, if you're frugal and don't blow it all,you really won't have to work again after your NBA career is over.
Perk says all of this but we see him,Eddie House & Brian Scalabrine, three members of that KG/Pierce/Allen championship team, around this C's team all of the time yet none want to make that jump into coaching.
It seems now like JJ trying to bait Perk into saying something he shouldn't say.
Perk doesn't know what he is talking about. The problem wasn't Brown doing too much. The problem was Brown not doing enough the heat series
If JB and JT want to play together you keep them together… dont break up a duo unless one is not happy..if Brown wants out he has earned that right

After seeing the Denver Nuggets as a team, their syle of play and their head coach leadership, if the Boston Celtics run it back with ni major changes, their is no need bringing them up.
