It’s funny how when Jokic won MVP over Giannis in 2021, then got swept in the 2nd round while Giannis went on to win a ring and finals MVP after hyper extending his knee so badly no one thought he would be back… there wasn’t much conversation like there is with Embiid.
Jokic shot 47% from the field, 68% from the line and 28% from 3 on 25 PPG against the suns while being swept.
I’m not saying Jokic didn’t deserve that MVP, it’s a regular season award. But he didn’t get crucified like Embiid and he wasn’t playing with a torn meniscus either
