Denver beat two 8 seeds, a 7 and a 4 to win a championship. I'm confident this is by far the highest seeding (sum of 27 and nearly the highest possible 8,8,7,6 would be possible as a 3seed) to win a title ever and I don't even know who would be 2nd but I'm pretty confident it isn't close.
