Remember this like it was yesterday 🥹
Gimme this duo over any other duo.
I was a senior in HS that year. My HS sent my senior class to knots berry farm that year but me and 3 friends skipped that and went to game 6 instead. Haha we didnt have tickets but back then, staples would play the entire game outside of the stadium on the big screen. This was before LA live was built. I was part of that big ass crowd that watched outside staples that day.
Then hours later, everyone rioted. lol my friends and i didn’t, cuz we were too scared but we did sneak into staples through the exit door and made it down to the court and saw devean George and Derek fisher on the court each with a bottle of champagne.
I’ll never forget that memory. So fuckin awesome
Would have been cool to see Larry Bird win a championship as a coach for his home state team.
My company had amazing seats, sat next to Pete Sampras and Commissioner Stern wad a row behind us.
I serviced the largest account for said company and was able to take 2 of these contacts to the game.
I was so fortunate and it was amazing!
