Meltons career playoff FG% is 35% over 26 games over 3 different seasons. Does this concern you or not?

Melton also shoots 32% from 3 with a true shooting percentage of 47% in the playoffs so far in his career. Does this concern you guys or not? Would you be open to trading Melton for a pick? Or is he still an untouchable for you?

Yes. Grizzlies fans warned us. He disappears in the playoffs. It’s one of the reasons they moved on from him. And that is exactly what happened.

I’m concerned that your site thinks averages and totals are the same thing.

I think he gets traded since he’s expiring next year and we may not be able to afford to resign him.

He could factor into us getting into the draft this year.

Yes. The championship winning Nuggets had numerous role players up their game in the playoffs. Almost all of our guys do the opposite.

People running around talking about trading Springer, Maxey, etc but this is one guy I would be fine with getting traded instead

Streaky shooting, poor finisher, and his defense in a playoff setting isn’t enough partly due to size (this is something that’s excusable if his offensive game were better of course)

Next year he’ll be a free agent and probably demand 16+ mil, should probably just pull the plug on keeping him

It’s not ideal but hes a versatile role player for $8m. We could do much worse.

We probably cant afford to resign him though due to some weird rules. Hopefully Springer can replace him.
