RJ, Obi, Quick, Fournier & whatever picks it takes within reason for PG, Morris, filler

    Aaaaaaand, we’re contenders.

Let’s trade our young assets & deplete our depth for a guy who’s overrated, never was a REAL superstar & choke artist. Anyone who thinks this trade would take us to the next level is dense

Turns 34 next season, don’t see the fit.

Glad it was actually from a credible reporter macri is always wrong lmao

I hear Julius has been in deep discussions with P recently…. I mean sure, it was on a podcast, but deep nevertheless

Paul George is a monster. If that’s available you have to go for it

34 and chronically injured. i’ll see the price tag, but probably no thanks

PG is like the perfect fit genuinely no one better we could ask for. Would prefer him over Lavine by a lot

Fournier, Obi and 3 firsts should do the trick

Very surprised by this, especially with their new arena.

But I mean…of all the trade targets we’ve seen floated (Zion, Dame, Beal, Lavine, KP, etc.) he’s gotta be legitimately the best fit for this iteration of the team, even if you do have concerns about his durability/age. 2 years and a player option. He gives you true wing size, the shooting and creation is obviously there, the defense is still good, more mentorship…imagine Grimes learning from him, especially after the logo’s co-sign?

Always comes back to cost, but considering how with damn near every person we’ve discussed this offseason health is a question mark…the fit makes sense more than most. And for my usual thing with a Thibs wing candidate…career shooting 45.7 and 42.3% from the corners…very interested, plus it sounded like PG has a relationship with Thibs already from team USA.

Still needs to be one more move in the end so can’t just spend everything for him, but if we’re making moves for championship contention, I think Brunson/PG/player X to be acquired later (especially if they are a a top 20-25 player) really can do it big on paper.

…but if I’m Ballmer, Kawhi is injury prone, there’s a lot going on at CHA with Miller, you don’t have a ton of assets, might be hard to sell Kawhi on it but I think you can sell the fanbase on Scoot + more if he’s there at 3.

I really like PG but Bro is in his mid-30s and has had quite some injury trouble recently. Definitely not the right piece to trade for.

Usually I care about age and injury history, but he fits like a glove. 2 years left on the deal isn’t crazy either. I’d MUCH rather take a shot on him than Kat or Lavine. Likely lower cost, better fit, stomachable contract, best defender of the bunch by far, and he plays well in the playoffs – which we obviously haven’t proven we can do.
