The 2023 NBA Draft is tomorrow night, and Victor Wembanyama is expected to go 1st-overall to the San Antonio Spurs. Meanwhile, in the NFL the Dallas Cowboys finished last season with a record of 12-5 and were eliminated in the Divisional Round by the San Francisco 49ers. Brady was also in one of the worst divisions for 15 plus years. And even if you and I quote want to put "Blake's Bortles 4 wins against Dak 4 wins since 2000." I'm pretty sure Dak was still in highschool.
Dallas just blows it in the playoffs, many of those teams Colin groups with then don't even make the playoffs most years but the few times they have they made runs. Id love more playoff success but i promise you id rather have the cowboys success over the likes of the jets, cardinals, raiders etc. even the panthers. shoot giants have 2 super bowls this century but outside those seasons they've been nothing. My point is id rather have a competitive team every year that gets my hopes up until the inevitable blown playoff game than have one or two good playoff runs and be bottom feeders 20/23 years drafting in the top 5.
