The Toronto Raptors have a HUGE decision to make as it is the day of the 2023 NBA Draft which always provides teams the chance to find the next NBA star. The Raptors have the 113th overall pick and thought they could have moved further up the lottery near the end of the season, there is still a plethora of talent available for Masai Ujiri’s management team to strongly consider.
There are guards available like Cason Wallace, Kobe Bufkin, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Keyonte George, and Jordan Hawkins who should be available at 13 but others like Gradey Dick are very intriguing if they fall lower than expected. Even forwards like Bilal Coulibaly can provide tons of interest for Toronto based on the upside.

Looking doubtful that the Raptors trade up in the draft, especially into the top 3. Hoping for the best tho.
That list looks spot on , my gut tells me that Wallace may be gone , and if so I like Kobe…the day of the draft the agents are working overtime spewing their garbage….. my concern is that if Poertl doesnt sign we are back at ground zero with no true center and costing us a first rounder….. and Fred is running out of suitors, and my worry is that we will panic overpay !!!! my ideal situation is straight up go after scoot and rebuild…..I said it there you go 🙂

Cason, Hawkins, Coulibaly. Cason is the guy I feel most confident won't be a bust and can fit with this team which honestly I think they'll be running back. Jalen looks good too though. I like guys who show some flash as a passer at the collegiate level. If you aren't inventive against worse competition, you likely won't be against the best in the world either.

Draft a PG Wallace yes, Bufkin looks gone but yes, Jalen Hood Schifino Third for me and hope he can grow to Starter.
Sign Jacob, trade Flynn for second in late 30s -45 pick this year. 🙏. S&T FVV for a PG and other salary fill where we gain $5-10M in space Cole Anthony and Gary Harris are not great but works for both teams.

Sign Jeff D to min. Sign Banton to same $ for 2 years and say you are on the clock and have that time to get real 3rd string PG or SF mins.

Watch them fumble it and grab Coulibaly or someone not being talked about and the guy turns into another Bruno Caboclo or Malachi Flynn. I just dont have the same amount of trust in this front office as i used to.
