Box score. Shot was very clearly short today and missed all but a few shots at the rim. Defense is improved but still reaches/fouls a ton

  1. JHS and Christie both played great defense on him

  2. Y’all really gonna do this every single game huh?

    But yeah he was ass

Jordan has a great eye for talent, someone should take him on as GM now he is not an owner

  4. GunstarGreen

Someone link him that Rosetta Stone course.

  5. Goatlikejordan

Still can’t believe people called him a bust after a half of basketball and wemby a bust after a game

  6. logone22

I watched the game and i didn’t even know he was playing

  7. Bro is a delusional version of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

  8. Hahahaha lol 👌

    We passed on Scoot.

God I hate this franchise so much.

As a fat white kid that played rec league off the bench. Me and Brandon Miller both know what it’s like to get pity claps after being garbage and making a random floater every now and then.

This just tells me Christie is going to see some good minutes for the Lakers. Still not a great performance from Miller regardless though

Numbers aside, he really doesn’t jump off the screen at allll. I get it’s summer league so things can change quickly, but his lack of athleticism is kind of glaring

  12. Picking him over scoot still baffles me. He might be a good player, but I don’t think he has the tools to be a great one

Can you guys stop these overreactions remember Trae Young and Kevin Knox in summer league?

  14. iunrealx1995

Yes it’s only summer league but he seems to lack athleticism and his shot is super shaky. Not labelling him a bust or anything, I just expected a little bit more in those departments. He’s got plenty of time to improve though.

  15. This is the same mistake the Warriors made with LaMelo. If you’re high in the draft, I’d prioritize talent over need.

Miller is gonna be really good right now the squad around him is absolutely horrendous and he’s surrounded by a bunch of ball hogs I’m not saying he’s perfect but when you force a guy who was clearly gonna need to develop his self creation chops in the league and force him to create all offense for himself because other ways he’s not gonna get any shots it’s understandable that he might struggle when he plays with a guy like Lamelo and bridges with his scoring gravity with other players that can actually take advantage of his playmaking it’s gonna be a different story.

Also people are acting like scoot did something transcendent in his debut he went 5/13 and got injured.

This dude has so many haters, hope he finds his way for Char

For a perpetual lottery team, the Hornets whole summer league roster is shockingly bad.

  19. Bigdeacenergy

He needs time. He won’t jump in and start year 1

  20. Reinhardtisawesom

He played bad but also he doesn’t have a real point guard so ofc he’s gonna look bad

  21. Cul_what

Shout out Fino and Christie put the clamps on this guy

  22. BaMelo_Lall

Good thing his name isn’t Emoni Bates

Miller will be fine. Just all the more proof he needs to get stronger, and all the more proof that he’s someone who needs playmakers around him to bring out the best in him. The ability to make the extra pass and make good decisions has been a plus. Not always the most accurate passer and not always consistent with the decision making but he’s not been selfish, unlike so many of his teammates.
