Josh Green and Jaden Hardy were two bright spots in the Dallas Mavericks’ 2023 NBA season, and Mavericks trade rumors throughout the 2023 NBA offseason haven’t included Green or Hardy in trade scenarios. According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, Green and Hardy are seen throughout the NBA as attractive trade pieces to other teams and could be used by Mavs GM Nico Harrison to make a deal. Have to trade one! Type '3' for Hardy, Type '8' for Green
Green and Hardy should both be starters. This is Jalen Brunson all over again. You have young players who are improving and growing. KEEP THEM. Develop them. You don't need to trade away half the roster every year. You can't develop chemistry like that. If they trade away those guys then I might not watch this year. Learn from your mistakes.

If the Mavs trade either of these young players they will have totally failed Luka and the fan base. It's bad enough that they are bringing back Powell and still have yet to trade for a real center, but you do something like that and thats the writing on the wall that Luka will be leaving.

Thank god these scrubs don’t run the mavs organization. Just give up on draft picks that aren’t as talented as Luka after their first 1-2 years. There’s a such thing called role players that every championship team needs jackasses 🤦♂️
Thybulle is only starting if he's hitting 3s at a decent clip and higher than 1 or 2 shots a game. So that would be a Mcgee starter(where it probablyh doesn't last long)
His value is higher if he does what he's done. Improve every year. Kidd is a big fan so I doubt they are moving him unless it's for a much better player they Thybulle.

If it takes letting one of them go to bring in Capela or Turner IMO you have to do it. Center is our biggest need atm.

All the other NBA teams love trading with the Mavericks! Like Brunson, Finney-Smith, etc. although that was the previous regime, Nico seems smarter than his predecessors; I wonder what Lively thinks about all the talk about how the Mavs need to trade for a top center. When the Mavs drafted him he thought he was that top center that they were needing; Are the Spurs also thinking about acquiring a top veteran center so they can send Victor down to the G league to give him some minutes?

You have to have a mix of good older players and up and coming young ones. Green and hardy are our young ones. Can’t trade all your appreciating assets. Sign it and keep it.
Lets assume they are both going to get about the same monwy in the future, Green next year and Hardy the yesr after. So you get Hardy cheap for an extra year but you need Green more in the next year. I personally think Exum is very similar to Green. Id be happy to trade either for the right player.

Hardy, Green, Maxi, Hardaway maybe a 1st for Hunter & Capela
having a strong bench is way more important than upgrading one position in the long run
I dont believe in trading young talents like Hardy and Green before they reach their full potential…I think Jaden has All Star potential and Green can be a poor mans Klay ….I might consider Green in a Siakam Trade or Capela but thats it
Hardy’s trade value is at an all time high and I personally think his defense is worse on the team keep green trade hardy for another good defensive player
Get rid of Green and Hardy if it makes this team better instantly, this team has the most casual fans i swear, the same people who say we should keep Hardy and Green are the same people said we should keep Powell and Kleber then Dallas proceeded to sign them to bad contracts 😂😂, Mavs have bad draft history, Lively will be a backup Center in this league and O max will be role player that's bounces from team to team.. the mavs fans think every player they draft is going to be a difference maker, also people think you can just plug in defensive players in certain spots and thats going to fix this team, news flash it dont work that easy,

I would trade jason kidd. Meaning fire him. Hes the total oposite of what luka needs. Luka needs carizmatic coach…who screams on the sideline…who motivates during timeots….who tells him man…stop jacking trees and penetrate. He does not trust rookies…he has no plan b or mid game adjustments. Even im postgame interviews kidd is the most boring one. Never takes responsobiltiy and rarely talks articulate basketball tactics. Wears a starter cap etc. Since luka is not the leader…a coach must be. Im default anywayz
If you can trade Green in a package for the likes of Jarrett Allen or even Claxton DO IT! Harrison's right his value is never going to be higher. There are probably some teams with pipe dreams about his potential. Lol Hardy is waaayyy more valuable than Josh.
