  1. Crown mentioned this in Gil's arena if everyone was paid the same, winning everyone would want to win. There should be a higher base pay and a much much lower discrepancy btw the top and lowest paid members on a team.. You should not be paid based off potential or talent

  2. The media is creating this narrative, and its nothing. Weird thing when contracts go up so does cap past 2 yrs it went 30 million. Its almost goes up dollar for dollar for the super parts of the contract. So it evens out. Teams can have 2 superstars, its when they get 3 its a problem. Celtics will not break these 2 up unless they want to, but no they will not have any problems. Banner 18 baby

  3. Anyone who wants to win more has a blueprint to follow. It was provided by Mr. Tom Brady himself. Take a little less to allow more to spread out and have better teammates. 200 million over 5 years is still multigenerational wealth if you're not a total moron. Either want the bag or the rings but it's rare you get both.

  4. With the cap going up after the new TV deal this supermax contract won’t happen as much as people want it to. They are just mad they didn’t split up the best duo in the NBA and with Porzingis trade and drafting Walsh we are gonna be great for years to come most definitely and continue to be in the ECF (5 years and counting)

  5. now the boston had no choice dude….brown is 26 going 27 in october the celtics sign him at his prime yes his not the #1 option of that team but you can say that to the all player sign to 207m rookie extension pacers are going nowhere with tyrese hornets are going to the infinite rebuilding stage no matter what everyone say THE CELTICS WILL BE A CONTENDER FOR THE NXT 6 YRS AND FOR 304M AND YOU ADD UP 338M BECAUSE OF TATUM XTENSION EVERY TEAM WILL SPEND FOR THAT

  6. Mike Conley had 150M and was the biggest contract in his time but was offloaded on his last year

  7. They still HAVE NO SIZE to deal with Jokic, or the depth. To say nothing of the fact that neither Tatum or Brown play good defense. This squad's TOO SMALL.

The Nuggets may have lost 2 good bench players, but their starting 5 is still in tact, they quietly added another 7 ft'er to the roster, and their culture will be able to develop their bench again. All of these HUGE contracts mean nothing.

The Tatum/Brown era has produced very little. They didn't win last year and they aren't winning this year. They gave away $300M for a trip to the Finals-MAYBE. It's laughable. The Celtics should have traded him and rebuilt. This was a huge mistake.

  8. No way Brown deserved a contract like that. No one in the NBA should be getting $60 million a year. But, he really isnt that good.

  9. According to Chris Haynes, Brad Steven start calling other teams if they are interested in trading for jaylen brown at February trade deadline

  10. As a jazz fan them getting rid of Danny ainge was a mistake he is already getting a great rebuild for us
